Some look only for a place to stay, we looked for a place to be.
Take-YourTime.com was born from a shared urgency: the need to slow down, to silence the digital noise, and to reclaim sovereignty over our own time. More than a platform or a concept, this is our manifesto - the art of living through time.

With decades of experience in financial multinationals and the world of arts, we - Jorge and Olga - are an urban couple who lived at the heart of modern acceleration. It was at the intersection of management rigor and artistic sensibility that we found our commitment: reconciling ambitions and responsibilities with a more balanced lifestyle. We believe in a different way of existing, where the present is embraced in harmony with nature, and where professional and personal lives do not negate each other, but coexist.

And because every thought needs a foundation to flourish, we built ours at Casa de Sobrado Countryside House.
This century-old property, carefully restored, is the physical embodiment of the Take-Your-Time.com manifesto. A place designed to enjoy rurality and nature in an environment of absolute tranquility. By preserving the architectural and landscape heritage of the village of Barros, in Vila Verde – Portugal, we created more than just accommodation: we raised a sanctuary where time became a place.

Casa de Sobrado is our root. It is the family home where ancient stones and the green landscape taught us that silence is not empty - it is the space where everything gains meaning. We decided to open its doors to the world so that our vision would not just be read, but lived.

Here, we are the curators of your rest. We created this ecosystem so that, upon crossing our gate, you feel that the manifesto you read on the screen has taken shape and form. So that you can, finally, find your own time again.
